Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust

Following an external audit the trust had concerns that their fire doors were not compliant and needed further details on the extent of the problems they had.

Scope of Work

Checkmate were tasked with the Surveying of all internal doors, at Southport Hospital.   The hospital building was built in the 1990s and has circa 1500 door sets.

Every door on the hospital was surveyed using Checkmate Fire’s bespoke Firedoorcheck software capturing defects in line with agreed protocols

Results

The Hospital Trust were presented with a survey document fully identifying remediation actions for every door on the hospital.  This document was used so that the remediation works could be done.
