Intumescent Paint & Board

Checkmate provide Intumescent Paint applications and various Board systems to meet any structural fire protection or acoustic requirements. In 1992 Checkmate were chosen by Balfour Beatty to 4 hour fire protect fibre optic cables within the Channel Tunnel.

Recent projects have included all intumescent paintwork to the prestigious St Paul’s Square Development, Liverpool, for Shepherd Construction.

Checkmate’s most enduring relationship has been with Interserve Strategic Projects for whom numerous projects have been successfully completed annually since 1991.

In 2005 Checkmate were awarded ‘Preferred Contractor’ status. States Interserve Procurement Manager Neil Fletcher:
