Over the last few years air sealing in buildings has improved dramatically. When air sealing wasn't thought upon as an issue many people generally didn't do a thing to stop it. A huge problem with no one pointing out that not air sealing was a problem meant that pollution would escape into the buildings and cause problems for the people who would be breathing in the air.
Many buildings today including homes have air ventilation that helps to reduce uncontrolled air to escape into the buildings. If you do not have air ventilation and the form of ventilation that you use is natural it will not remove pollution from the building and therefore air sealing is not taking place to help you to breathe a non polluted air.
At check mate fire.com we can help with your air sealing. We can help to prevent pollution from escaping into your property.
